Memories elicited by objects in my room

Tumbled stones top trumps!

For my final outcomes of "Text Imagined" I decided to create a series of swappable/collectable top trump cards based on tumbled stones. Initially as a starting point I looked at objects in my room that elicited memory. Some crystals I found reminded me of a place I used to visit in Cornwall called "tumble topia", a large pit containing lots of stones which you could pay to visit and collect crystals.

The objects in my room also reminded me of when I used to play top trumps in Cornwall with my friends so I decided to combine the two. Through my experimentation processes I did a lot of printing alongside trying to paint and draw things I could remember from my childhood without any references so that the memories had little inaccuracies and quirks due to aspects I couldn't remember accurately.
